Sodium ethoxide, sodium benzenesulfinate, phenJ. lethJ-nylsotiium, n-but> llithium and the sodium derivatives of diethyl malonate, ethyl acetoacetate and dibenzol lmethane are alkyldted readil! by 4-hydroxJ-1-butanesulfonic acid sultone.
