Abstract

This spectrum is very similar to the spectra attributed to contact ion pairs of fluoradenide ion in THF and THP.'No detectable change in the spectrum was observed as [Me4-NOMe] was varied from 0.40 to 0.01 M. 3 We also found that addition of 18-crown-6 to the potassium methoxide solutions produced an ion-pair spectrum.
