Abstract

320 NOTES tained in crystalline state from the reaction of 2 with phenyl- acetylene; yield; 600 mg (62%); mp 139—141°C (methanol) (1it,19) mp l4l—142°C). Oily products obtained from the reaction using butyl vinyl ether or methyl methacrylate as dipolarophile were distilled in vacuo to give pure iso— xazolines (6g and (ii) in yields shown in Table 1.
