Abstract

The reaction of organic nitriles with (NSC1)3 at 23 "C, preferably under UV irradiation, produces the six-membered rings RCN&CIz (R = But, CC13, MezN, EtzN, Pri2N), which are converted to the five-membered rings RCN2S2+CI- upon mild thermolysis. ...
