Abstract
Abstract The question of the structure of the acylamidoximes is reviewed. It appears that the acylation of amidoximes invariably occurs on the oxygen atom forming O-acyl derivatives unless the NOH group is substituted. Until now, N-acylamidoximes have never been isolated, with the exception of the acylation products of formamidoxime.
