Abstract A series of monodentate neutral and anionic phosphorus ligands was synthesized and evaluated in the asymmetric rhodium-catalyzed hydrogenation of functionalized olefins by using either catalysts containing identical ligands or catalysts generated from mixtures of two different ligands.
