Abstract
Abstract Co 2 (CO) 8 catalyzed aminocarbonylation of geminal dihaloalkanes R 2 CX 2 (R H, CH 3; X Br, Cl) with NHEt 2 affording R 2 C (NEt 2) CONEt 2 selectively in nC 6 H 14 using NEt 3, while the yield of R 2 C (CONEt 2) 2 fairly increased in THF or benzene in aid of K 2 CO 3.
