Abstract

A series of complexes of the type [R 2 SnCl 2 ] (where R = Me, Et or Pr n and = bis(1-pyrazolyl)- methane (pz 2 CH 2 ), tris(1-pyrazolyl)methane (pz 3 CH), bis(3,5-dimethyl-l- pyrazolyl)methane [(Me 2 pz) 2 CH 2 ], 1-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (pzpy)). 1-(2- pyridyl)3,5-dimethylpyrazole ((Me 2 pz)py) and bis(2- pyridyl)methane (py 2 CH 2 ) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, NMR and 119 Mcolon;ssbauer spectroscopic techniques. ...
