Abstract

Abstract N-Acyl-urea derivatives of carbamazepine (CBZ) were synthesized through the reactions of iminostilbene with acyl-isocyanates to form N-glycyl-carbamazepine (N-Gly- CBZ, after a deprotection step) or N-acetyl-carbamazepine (N-acetyl-CBZ).
