Abstract

The rate constants for reactions of OH-with 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB), 2, 4- dinitrochloronaphthalene (DNCN), and p-nitrophenyl diphenyl phosphate (pNPDPP) in micellized cetyltrimethylammonium hydroxide (CTAOH) do not conform to the pseudophase ion-exchange model.
