The influence of surfacespecific parameters on the photocatalytically induced oxidative degradation of halogenated hydrocarbons in aqueous Ti02 suspensions has been evaluated by comparing the results obtained in this heterogeneous system with those from y- irradiated homogeneous aqueous solutions.
