Abstract
Methods. The reaction was followed by monitoring the absorbance of I2 and 11 at their experimentally determined isosbestic point of 474 nm (e= 830 M-'cm-I), the redox potential at a platinum electrode with calomel reference electrode, the potential of an iodide-specific electrode, and the pH.
