Abstract

The reactions of elemental sulfur and diaryl disulfide with the compounds bearing a semipolar S→ N linkage were investigated. Elemental sulfur was found to react with N- arenesulfonylsulfilimine and sulfoximine affording the corresponding sulfide and the sulfoxide respectively.
