Abstract
Abstract The hydrosilation reaction has been utilized for the synthesis of silicon heterocyclic compounds. The effect of n upon the ease of ring formation from compounds of the formula CH 2 CH (CH 2) n SiMe 2 H (n= 0–6) has been investigated with chloroplatinic acid as a catalyst.
