Abstract
Abstract Several unsymmetrical heterobiaryls have been synthesized through palladium- catalyzed cross-coupling reactions of lithium triorganozincates. The latter have been prepared by deprotonative lithiation followed by transmetalation using non-hygroscopic ZnCl 2 TMEDA (0.33 equiv).
