Abstract

A series of novel chalcones bearing acridine moiety attached to the amino group in their ring A have been synthesized through noncatalyzed nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction between various 3′-aminochalcone or 4′-aminochalcones and 9-chloroacridine.
