Abstract
A number of substituted 4, 5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-5-ones belong among still applied selective and non-toxic herbicides [1]. Our previous articles dealt with their synthesis, characterisation, and study of mechanism of their formation [2]. Other possible applications of 4, 5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-5-ones lie in their use as ligands that form coordination compounds with selected metal ions [3].
