Abstract

We report a new and efficient iron oxide catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between organometallic species such as alkyl/arylmagnesium halides or organolithium species and α- hydrogen bearing cyclic unbranched and branched aliphatic ethers via activation of C (sp3)– H.
