Abstract

A high-absorption-coefficient, metal-free, push-pull photosensitizer with a binary π- conjugated spacer of ethylenedioxythiophene and dithienosilole has been synthesized and exhibits a strikingly high efficiency of 10.0− 10.3% measured under irradiation of AM1. 5G full sunlight.
