Abstract
A fluorescence turnoff assay for phospholipase C (PLC) from Clostridium perfringens is developed based on the reversible interaction between the natural substrate, phosphatidylcholine, and a fluorescent, water-soluble conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE).
