Abstract
Recent synthetic applications of quinone imines1 and bisimines2 have focused on nucleophilic additions promoted by both acids and bases. 3 These reactions require the use of stable N-arylsulfonyl derivatives of quinone imines to avoid decomposition, which occurs with more labile protecting groups.
