Abstract

The fIuoroindoles served as starting materials for the following derivatives: 4-fluoroindole-3- aldehyde XI, 4-fluoro-3-(2-methyl-2-nitrovinyl) indole XII, and 4· fluoro-Q-methyltryptamine XIII, prepared analogously to the known isomers [I); 6-fluoro-3-(2-nitrovinyl) indole XIV and 6- fluorotryptamine XV, prepared accordingly to Young [8), and 4-, 5-, and 6-fluoroindole-3-car-
