Abstract

Abstract A rhodium (III)-catalyzed direct dehydrogenative annulation of benzamides with alkynes through chelating-assisted C [BOND] H activation has been developed. Naphthylamide and isoquinolinone derivatives can be chemoselectively obtained by this protocol.
