Abstract
While a wide variety of recent studies of carboxylic acid amides hasshown pharmacological activity, there has been relatively little systematic explorntion2 of the amides of a-hydroxy acids. Studies3 of such amides, and derivatives of these conipounds of the type I are herein described.
