Abstract
A variety of.'-li?. drt) sypS-raziiies has been broiiiinateti and phenylated, and three have beeii iiitrated. It Iias lieen found that halogens and nitro groups ortho to hydroxyl are easily displaced by acidic reagents, and such reactions afford convenieiit syntheses of dihalo-and dihydroxypyrazines.
