Abstract
Reaction of nitrite ion with excess aryl isocyanate in organic solvents at 0 "C rapidly produces 1,3-diaryItriazenes in good yields via an aryldiazotate ion intermediate reacting with a second molecule of the aryl isocyanate. ...
