Abstract

Recent interest in this field has been centered on the preparation and biochemical study of deazapteridine analogs in efforts to determine the structural requirements for the biological a~ tivity.~ No attempt has heretofore been made, however, to investigate the effect on the activity of changing the relative positions of the nitrogen atoms in the pteridine nucleus.
