Abstract

Abstract We report a novel synthesis of N??alkyl??N??alkyloxycarbonylaminomethyl (NANAOCAM) prodrugs of acetaminophen, theophylline, and 6??mercaptopurine by alkylation of the corresponding drug molecule with N??alkyl??N??alkyloxycarbonylaminomethyl chlorides in good yield.
