Abstract
Comparatively few trifluoromethyl derivatives of compounds of recognized physiological or chemotherapeutic activity have been prepared. The strongly electronegative nature of the trifluoromethyl radical, its peculiar chemical stability and striking effect upon physical properties of compounds containing it, as exemplified in their low boiling points and melting points, impelled us to introduce it into a variety of substances, some of which are ...
