Abstract

In the previous study" of a-sulionylamides the most effective hypnotic was a-is-butylsulfonyl- ? zbutyramide. Since this was the only purely aliphatic derivative investigated, the synthesis oi a series of a-alkylsulfonylaniides was undertaken.
