Abstract

A series of Cp* Rh-based functional metallarectangles have been synthesized from metallaligands. Enlargement of one linker leads to the isolation of two novel Borromean link architectures. All these complexes are intact in solution, as evident from ESI-MS spectroscopic analysis.
