Abstract
By CL ARCUS and J. KENYON. p-Toluenesulphinic acid and its esters condense with acetone to produce p-idyl-p-(B-methyZPentan-6-onyZ) suZPhone (I) and evidence supporting this formulation of the condensation product is given.
