Abstract
Cross-coupling reactions of Grignard reagents have been reported with alkyl, allyl, alkenyl, and aryl halides in the presence of various kinds of transition-metal catalysts.'-* The authors also reported that copper (1) iodide (CUI), and tetrakis (triphenylphosphine) palladium (O)(Pd (PPh3),) were effective catalysts in the cross-coupling reactions of 1, 3-butadien-2- ylmagnesium chloride (1) with alkyl and aryl iodides, respe~ tively.~ In the course of our ...
