Abstract

861 (1921). phines. The present work extends deoxygenation by phosphines to aromatic dtroso derivatives. Triphenylphospbine oxide (11. R= Cab) is obtained in good yield from equimolar quantities of triphenylphosphine and o-dinitrosobenzene in a hydrocarbon solvent.
