Abstract

Abstract The rhodium-or copper-catalyzed intramolecular aromatic carbenoid insertion of biaryldiazoacetates offers a convenient route to fluorene carboxylates with high yields. Whereas, thermal conditions provided a mixture of two regioisomeric products when substituted biaryldiazoacetates were employed as substrates.
