Abstract
INTRODUCTION Chiral alcohols are important building blocks used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, pheromones, flavors and fragrances. They can also act as chiral auxiliaries in asymmetric synthesis of chiral molecules [1].
