Abstract

An efficient and straightforward synthesis of 2H-indazoles is achieved from 2- bromobenzaldehydes, primary amines and sodium azide through consecutive condensation, C–N and N–N bond formations, catalyzed by a novel heterogeneous CuII–HT catalyst.
