Abstract

A combination of sulfanyl radical addition–cyclization of the oxime ethers and hydrazones connected with alkenes and subsequent conversion of a phenylsulfanylmethyl group to a carboxyl group provides a novel method for the construction of the cyclic β-amino acids.
