Abstract
Abstract Candida antarctica lipase catalyzes a number of elementary reactions like alcoholysis, ammoniolysis and aminolysis in poly (ethylene glycol)(PEG) media. Reaction rates were comparable to or better than those observed in conventional organic reaction media and ionic liquids.
