Abstract
Benzofurazan derivatives exhibit a broad spectrum of biological activity, including antibacterial, antifungal, acaricide, antileukemic, and immunodepressive action [1–3]. An efficient and widely used procedure for the synthesis of these compounds is based on reductive deoxygenation of relatively readily accessible benzofuroxans.
