Abstract

Photochemically initiated reaction of 3, 4~ dichloro~ 3, 4, 4~ trifiuoro~ 2~ butanone (l) with 2~ methyI~-butene in the liquid phase gave a mixture of isomeric oxetanes Xa, Xb (26% reI), reduction products of the starting ketone, XI and XII, and the recombination products XIVa, XIVb, XV.
