Abstract
Supercritical fluids are rapidly becoming alternative reaction media for conventional organic reactions.[1] The advantages of reactions in supercritical fluids include the high solubility of gaseous reactants, rapid diffusion of solutes, and weakening of the solvation around the reacting species.
