Abstract

A synthesis of graphite powder covalently modified with gallic acid (3, 4, 5-trihydroxybenzoic acid), via a 1, 2-diaminoethane “linker” molecule, to form gallylaminoethylaminocarbonyl graphite (gallic-carbon) is reported.
