Abstract
The reactions of sulfoxides with magnesium amides generated in situ from the reaction of ethylmagnesium bromide and secondary amines, such as diisopropylamine (DIPA) or 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethylpiperidine (TMP) in diethyl ether, were examined.
