Abstract

Convenient syntheses of TIPDS-Cl 2 and TBDMS-Br from the corresponding hydrides were obtained by using catalytic PdCl 2 and CCl 4 or CH 2 Br 2 , respectively. These systems can be successfully applied in tandem procedures for improved silylation of nucleosides. ... Convenient syntheses of TIPDS-Cl 2 and TBDMS-Br from the corresponding silicon hydrides have been obtained. One-pot nucleoside silylations by using silicon hydrides have also been carried out.
