Abstract

Abstract The kinetics of disproportionation of N-Cl-methylamine and N-Cl-ethylamine in water were studied at acid pH. Its disproportionation and protonation constants and the coefficients of absorption of N, N-dichloramines are calculated and the mechanism of its disproportionation is discussed.
