Abstract
For the enantioselective borohydride reduction of aliphatic ketones, the optically active ketoiminatocobalt (II) catalysts was successfully designed based on their axial ligand. Instead of chloroform for the aryl ketone reduction, various axial ligand precursors were examined for the aliphatic ketone.
