Abstract

At this stage, we thought it would be interesting to be able to supervise the functionalization order on the 1,2,4-triazine ring. Therefore, the reactivity of readily available 3-methylsulfanyl-1,2,4- triazine (1) [8] was investigated with different organometallics: organolithium reagents, Grignard reagents, boronic acids, organostannanes and organozinc reagents.
