Abstract
We have studied the surface chemistry of trifluoromethyl iodide adsorbed on Ni (100) under ultrahigh-vacuum conditions. Temperature-programmed desorption and reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy were used to detennine gas-phase products and species formed at the surface.
