Abstract
The absolute rate constants for the reactions HCO+ O2-H02+ CO and HCO+ NO-HNO+ CO have been determined by using a flash photolysis-laser resonance absorption technique. The values obtained at 298 K are in units of cm3 molecule-'s-': ko,=(5.6 f 0.6) X and kNO=(12.3 f 1.2) X 10-l2. Negative temperature coefficients have been found between 298 and 503 K for both reactions: k,= 5.5 x lo-" x p. 4* 0.3 and kNO= 1.2 XX F'. 4M. 3. Both ...
